Kia India has officially confirmed that the Sonet facelift will debut in India on 14 December, 2023 With Host of New Features & ADAS Level 1 Tech
The Sonet facelift will feature a revised front fascia with slimmer grille, inverted L-shaped LED DRLs, new LED headlamps and fog lamps, and a silver faux skid plate.
Exterior Looks
The Sonet facelift will also get a new dual-tone interior theme, touch-based controls for the AC functions, built-in sunblinds for the second-row occupants, ADAS suite, and a fully digital instrument cluster.
Features
The Sonet facelift will likely retain the same powertrain options as the current model, including a 1.2-litre NA petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
Engine Specs
The Sonet facelift will also offer various transmission options, such as a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed iMT, a 6-speed torque converter, and a 7-speed DCT.
Transmission
The Sonet facelift will also get an ADAS suite, which will include features such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.
The Sonet facelift is expected to be priced slightly higher than the current model, which ranges from Rs. 7.79 lakh to Rs. 15.00 lakh (ex-showroom). The prices are likely to be revealed early next year.
